Take to the snowy slopes and the blocky wilds in January’s free PS Plus games, Steep and Portal Knights.

Steep is Ubisoft’s open-world snowboarding game, with added winguists, skiis, and paragliders. If you’re looking for an SSX-esque thrill fix, this is as good as it gets on PS4.

Elsewhere, there’s Portal Knights. Imagine if Minecraft had a baby with Dragon Quest Builders and you’re not far off. Team up in co-op and build together while keeping the monsters at bay within the confines of a fluid RPG class system.

Steep always looked like an interesting game but I've never gotten around to trying it.

steep is not for me, i will have try to portal knights out though.

Not too great in my opinion. I thought steep was cool at first but it's pretty boring and repetitive. Either way, free games are the best!
