Guy Trashes GameStop After Being Told He Couldn’t Return Fallout 76

3.9
We all know what it’s like. You wake up in the morning on the wrong side of the bed, the cat has peed in your cornflakes and you hate your boss. Makes you want to go out and trash a store, doesn’t it? Although most of us usually only imagine ourselves doing these things with a smile on our face, someone decided to do just that and seemingly had enough of the world, and Gamestop too.

In a post on Twitter, @GeoffLife shared a video originally from a Facebook post by Tarenthis Campbell, of what happened when a guy who was trying to return his copy of Fallout 76 to Gamestop but got refused due to their policy. Instead of just accepting that this is how it is and leaving the store, the irate man decided to go all hulk and destroy the store in a fit of rage. He wasn’t just satisfied with a single toss of a shelf or something, he had to show he meant business by pushing down displays and flipping games into the air.

At the end of the video, the rather angry man walks out leaving behind a customer who witnessed it all in shock, not to mention the guy that was filming the whole thing. Although the award for keeping your cool under pressure goes to the customer service assistant who answers an incoming call completely chilled and saying “Thanks for calling GameStop, this is Brian how can I help you?”.

There has been no further information at the time of writing this post what happened next and if the man got charged for his flip out due to Fallout.

Fallout 76 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can order the game through Amazon right here.

A good reason to carry a gun. You never know what could happen and for what reason. What if he had decided to attack the cashier instead?
Still, he only wanted to return the game so he could pay for college. He has dreams, you know, and he's just being oppressed.

I hope they find this guy and get him for any and all charges they can.
Sad day, when someone has to trash a place just because they don't understand policies.

The Gamestop near me used to be amazing and they vocally disagreed with this policy(Multiple times I returned games because they were bad and they had no qualms giving me the full $60 back. This was about 5-6 years ago though, so it has went downhill very fast since I last was there (2016 I think). Around a year after xbox one came out my console decided to not read discs anymore so I took it there but realized I was a week past warranty and was worried in line. The manager opens up the other checkout and I go over and he asks me what happened to the xbox. I tell him. He says " I see that it's past warranty but only by 5 days, I could not, in good taste, send you away because of a 5 day expired warranty. So let me just ring this up and we'll get you a new console." His name was Nathan and he clearly was a good person and sales associate/manager. He even said that he works more hours than most of the store's employees and other employees in other locations. Turns out some belligerent parent decided to report them for opposing this policy because they wouldn't honor her kid's ps4 warranty that was over 5 MONTHS expired. All employees of that store were fired, Nathan was too. Soon after, the replacements were found and were very unfriendly and refused to give refunds on nearly everything. Place turned into a ghost town and is only packed when the holidays come around. Shame their corporation are a bunch of money hungry mongrels who see customers as $$$ instead of people. They had the potential to be decent but other game retailers popped around where I live at least and stole most of their business lol.

Just waiting for the Black Lives Matter narcissists to claim this fine gentleman was racially discriminated against by Gamestop.
