Spyro Reignited Trilogy Receives Nostalgia-Fueled Launch Trailer

Activision’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy is still several weeks away but that’s not stopping the publisher from releasing a launch trailer. Showcasing Spyro in all of his remastered glory with a few comparisons to the previous game, it’s impressive to see the amount of work that Toys for Bob has put in. Watch it for yourself below.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy contains all games from Insomniac’s original trilogy – Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Along with fully remastered visuals, the trilogy sports new voice lines from Tom Kenny as Spyro. You can also choose between the original soundtrack or a new remastered version.

The jury’s still out on what caused the delay from its original September 21st release date. Nevertheless, Spyro Reignited Trilogy is out on November 13th for Xbox One and PS4. When are the Nintendo Switch and PC versions being announced? Unfortunately, there’s been no information (aside from some removed listings) on that front either.

swagcanyon17 God I forgot this was coming out, I can not wait to play these and actually understand them. I was so young when I first played them and just messed around on them, I can not wait to dive into these and have just realized I guess i'm spending more money this year.

Jeez I guess you're kind of right about that, I really remember just roaming around and having a good time messing around. I'm hyped to play all 3 in a row and see what everything in the game actually means... and also just get drunk and have a good time roaming around!!

I was bummed that it didn't come out on the 21st, but any game delay means its gonna be flawless (i hope) on release, i'm grabbing this first day.

I remember pizza hut used to give game demos out and i used to just play the first level all day.

Edit: Just noticed that was Tom Kenny, man that guy really got around everywhere in my childhood.
