Activision has revealed to investors that the new Call of Duty game will be fully revealed in a matter of weeks. Interestingly, the game is going to really ramp up its online play abilities, promising a range of dedicated online technologies as well as social networking features. These online features are being developed at Beachhead. Moreover, it was confirmed that the new Call of Duty will be the first to offer players extra online options at a premium.
However, Kotick of Activision was quick to calm fears. He noted that players will not have to pay more for services that are typically free and that they are used to.

I'll probably dish out the cash for it. I know I'll get my money's worth. I only play CoD with some Halo and GTA on the side. I HATE the battlefield series and I'm awful at GoW. If it's not over the price of xbox live then I'll get premium :D
There Will Be A Total Backlash Against Them. I Think Battlefield Will Run Them Off The Leaderboards If They Do This. Personally Im A Gears of War / Cod Person So I Will Pick GoW3. xD
thats prety lame why should there be advantages for people who will pay a little extra when we spend money on the game and then there is xbox online fees and then MSP fees to buy they map packs then they suck im not getting mw3 ive liked the other mw series but not this one im replacing it with BF3
you will get what call of duty has always offered online for free but if you pay some money you will get extra things i am sure it will be things like this
X2 Xp weekends more often for buying users
Paying in Microsoft points for cod points to unlock guns 'if they keep the cod points system i hope they do'
Paying gives you extra playlists
map packs early for paid users
some ideas but it will be the same repackaged game don't let them fool you
So it's Like BattleField Bad Company 2's VIP but costs $45 more?
