Armed Forces now have billing address option on Xbox Live

4.6
Members of the Armed Forces living in U.S. military bases or stationed overseas used to be faced with an unforeseen hassle when accessing Xbox Live -- due to their roving home, entering billing information could be a genuine pain. Thankfully, the problem has been alleviated, as Major Nelson has announced the arrival of three new options for credit card addresses, which allow the armed forces to register cards using their respective Military States.

These users can update their information now through their console or the billing section of Xbox.com, changing their billing address to AA (Armed Forces of the Americas), AE (Armed Forces Europe) or AP (Armed Forces Pacific). We're big fans of anything Xbox can do to make our military personnel's leisure time as convenient (and, well, leisurely) as possible.

I Mean, The Armed Forces Do MORE Then Enough For Their Respective Countries, So Why Should They Have To Pay For Gold? Even Microsoft Points At That.

erm, i think everyone who says that they shouldn't pay is forgetting something... They chose to go into the army as their JOB. Everyone else has jobs, just theirs is more risky than others, but they chose to work in that profession i don't see why they should get any benefits as in free xbl gold just because they chose a specific career option.

Its because without their job, America wouldn't be where we are today. Its THE FORCES' strength that pushes America onwards, and for that, we should AT LEAST make them feel appreciated and give them bonuses. You cant be saying that people who work at Wal-Mart should get the same treatment as people who lost their legs, an arm, an eye, and suffered severe emotional trauma fighting in Vietnam or some other war? They are the reason we can sleep soundly in our beds.
it would be far to difficult for Ms to know who acctually was army personel and who was just a normal person, people would abuse the option of the armed forces option, and it was and is there choice to serve in the military, they never joined to get free things, they joined because they wanted to serve for there country. there job is no different from any other its just a hell of alot more work and more dangerous.

There is a way to distinguish who is a veteran, my dad has a "Veteran" sort of card from Desert Storm that we used at a carnival to gain benefits, maybe that will need to be used in order to receive benefits. And their job is no different? I don't see people walking inside Wal-Mart with bombs strapped to their chest exploding everywhere, and I don't see everyone dying.

I'm not fully american so your points are invalid to me. People in america look at people in the army and think of them as hero's they are not hero's, they are just doing a job. My point still stands, they get paid themselves so they can afford to buy things such as xbl gold not to mention the massive pension they normally get after they leave... Honestly from what you have said your are just ignorant. You say america wouldn't be where it is today without the army so they should get free things, surely that means that bankers, farmers, retail workers basically everyone that works should get it free as well as everyone is pushing america into the future.

Im not arguing any more just my point stands.

Netflix Why is everyone hating over this? It's for the people that fight for our country to ensure the freedom we very well enjoy every single day of our life's.

JoNZooM well that proves how bad the army really is.

How does that prove anything? If your stranded in the middle of nowhere in the middle east and you dont have any "credit cards" with you since your on the tour of duty and ONLY carry army equipment how is the Army bad? You can't just carry everyday things when your in a war. You wouldn't have the balls to even be in the army bro.

you dont know what it is saying. it is for the families not the soldiers people have to move over seas in some cases yes the soilders want carry a credit card dumb **** but its for the family you dont understand this is a good thing you people look at it like pointless cuz u live in one spot in the army families move all the time

yea because a soldiers family wants to be playing a video game system when they could be praying for their brother/son/dad/uncle/etc. any family member to come back safe and sound. YOUR the dumbass here not me.
