After a lot of user feedback, developer Bluehole has decided to fully release the title on September 4. And while much of the content that fans have become accustomed to on PC won’t be dropping with the 1.0 patch, many balance and bug-fixes likely will. Hopefully, buildings will render in before you enter them.
Leaving 1.0 also means that some new content is on the horizon. The Vietnamese-inspired Sanhok map (which is smaller than the previous two), War Mode, and custom matches have all been confirmed to be coming to the Xbox One version of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. No release schedule was mentioned for them though.

The documentary-style episode doesn’t omit the fact that the game has had its demons. Be it possessed cars, game crashes, or falling through the map, PUBG hasn’t been easy to play, especially as its PC counterpart gains more eSports attention with the recent PUBG Invitational.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be officially released in 1.0 on September 4.
