After having been in Early Access via Steam for nearly two months, Hi-Rez Studios today announced that Realm Royale will be arriving on Xbox One and PS4 next week.

This announcement comes alongside Hi-Rez also revealing that 4 million players have checked out Realm Royale so far on PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Realm Royale have been highly requested by the game’s community according to Hi-Rez’s executive producer Rory Newbrough. Xbox One and PS4 players will experience the game via a closed beta which means they’ll need a key to gain access. Applications for beta keys are open right now.

Alongside this arrival on consoles, Hi-Rez has also released a new trailer for Realm Royale. If you aren’t familiar with the game, this video should give you some good insight into how its class-based version of battle royale works.
