Black Ops Escalation Double XP Event Announced

Treyarch's to host a Call of Duty: Black Ops double XP weekend kicking off on May 6.

Specific platforms weren't announced, but it may be an Xbox 360 only event as the XP weekend's been planned to coincide with the May 3 launch of the Escalation map pack on Microsoft's console.

Officially announced yesterday, the DLC will feature four new multiplayer maps and "a Zombies experience like none before it".

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia has said Escalation will offer players "the variety they crave in both setting and gameplay".

The Hotel map is the undeveloped version of Havana made into a DLC map. Pretty cheap from my point of view.

**** YOU give 5 reasons why it sucks because personally i think it the best COD game out there.

It takes ages to kill anyone, it's mind numbingly boring, I'll go 30-6 and still be bored out of my mind. Getting kills isn't satisfying one bit. It's the same old boring sh*t that happens every match with nothing new. Treyarch think that balance makes the game fun when in reality it makes every gun the same and everything mega boring.

I could go on...
