Destiny 2: Forsaken’s New Video Shows How Bungie Created the Bow

4
A few weeks back, Bungie revealed that their newest expansion for Destiny 2 entitled Forsaken would be launching later this year in September. Of the additions in this add-on content, a new bow weapon was revealed that many fans had been requesting for quite some time.

In a recent video, Bungie discussed the process behind building the bow and how difficult it was for the team. Many of the developers at Bungie went hands-on with bows at shooting ranges and took note of how the weapon felt in their hands as they shot it. Priding themselves on the gunplay they have created in Destiny 2, they then tried their best to mirror the feeling of shooting an arrow in real life compared to what they then put in the game.

Bungie’s Greg Peng discusses in the video how he felt that the bow was almost too powerful the entire time they were developing it for the game but that it was such an exciting weapon because of how new it felt. Another developer also teased that exotic versions of the bow will have surprises in store for fans who earn it once Forsaken releases.

You can find this new video all about creating the bow for Destiny 2: Forsaken at the bottom of the page. Forsaken is due out later this year on September 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Currently, the base version of the game along with its first two expansions are available on the same platforms.

I doubt this will have much of an impact on the players that have already left the game.

Destiny 2 has died down a whole bunch. This DLC will hardly bring it back up.

Even if this DLC was free I wouldn't be interested in it, Destiny 2 died man.
