PUBG’s latest hack: flying cars and boats that kill people

4.5
As PUBG’s anti-cheat tech continues to evolve, so too will the methods of enterprising hackers. We’ve all seen blatant hacks like aim bots, recoil macros, wall hacks and the like. We’ve even come across PUBG-specific ones like speed hacks, loot hacks – the list goes on.

But never before have hacks in a multiplayer game been so advanced that they allowed players to weaponise vehicles on command. Over the past few weeks, a shocking new type of hack has been increasingly spotted in PUBG.

The hack simply allows players to fly their cars and boats through the air, descending upon unsuspecting players for a quick kill before bugging out. This sounds ridiculous, I know, but this is an actual hack that’s more effective than you think.

This is not someone getting lucky with a jump that their car landed perfectly over another player’s head, or any of the other glitches that see cars fly through the air uncontrollably. This particular hack goes beyond what we thought was even possible to begin with in PUBG.

The hack actually first appeared towards the end of last year, but reports of it are so rare most players just assumed it was a temporary server glitch. For some reason, hackers decided to revive it again recently.

Just typing “PUBG flying car/boat hack” in YouTube yields tonnes of results of players encountering the wild phenomenon. Some of these clips end up on daily compilations from channels like PUBG TV.

Our first video is from Peter Woolley, whose team felt the power of weaponised flying car first hand. It doesn’t look like there’s anything suspicious going on at first, then it’ll hit you.

Now how about some flying boats? Same basic principle, just using the often underutilised boats. John Doe‘s video shows this tactical boat insertion pretty well with the help of the 3D replay.

Boats are admittedly harder to control than vehicles, and this seems to carry over to their hacked versions. Here’s Shannon Robb and their teammate being completely perplexed by what they’re seeing, before both getting run over by a boat.

Finally, consider this one from Deadpool, which shows an advanced form of flying car hackers. Rather than be content with the ability to fly anywhere and ram people over, these hackers are now dodging bullets.

Sounds too insane? Think again.

PC games are always gonna have crazy mods like this. Fun to see and watch videos of but dying to one would be brutal.
