Mafia II and Prey come to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Today, Microsoft announced that it's adding two more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list. The new additions include Mafia II and Prey, and they bring the list to a grand total of 473 Xbox and Xbox 360 games, on top of last week's addition of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction.

As noted by Larry Hryb (Major Nelson), both games are currently discounted as part of the 2K Publisher Sale, so you can get both of these on the cheap.

Mafia II ($7.49)
Prey ($3.99)


Also, don't forget about this month's Games with Gold. If you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you've only got two days left to claim Zombi (Xbox One) and Split/Second (Xbox 360). Shadow Warrior (Xbox One) is also free until the end of the month. Beginning in a couple of days, subscribers will be able to claim Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India (Xbox One) and Crazi Taxi (Xbox 360).

really wish they would remaster it rather than BC. Maybe even a full series remastered would be nice.


I think they should just focus on new games. BC is a hell of a lot easier then a remaster.

I can see the point if the series of games was dead, but they could just as easy make a Mafia IV and make it better. But companies nowadays look for the easy way of making money instead of making a good game from scratch.

This would be awesome. So many memories on this series of games. A remastered version would bring the company alot of money I would think

ehhh mafia was better imo. No hate just had more fun on mafia.


its all opinions, personally they were both great games but the story to Godfather was better.


Agree to disagree. Godfather was good in a way but mafia will always ti the cake. Just my
opinion though.
