Dynasty Warriors 9 Gets Explosive Launch Trailer

Dynasty Warriors 9 launches tomorrow, and Koei Tecmo is celebrating the occasion with a new launch trailer.

The video showcases the game’s giant open world, which is certainly the biggest new feature of the game, on top of its one vs. hundreds combat, and its massive range of colorful characters inspired by the heroes of the Three Kingdoms.

It’ll be interesting to see how far the new gameplay will carry the game (well, I already know, but I can’t tell you… yet), but for now you can enjoy the footage and see if it entices you.

Dynasty Warriors 9 released in Japan on February 8th, exclusively for PS4. The western release will hit the shelves tomorrow, on February 13th. In the west, the game will also launch for Xbox One, and PC.

Craig Graphics look fairly decent for a game of this type.


Graphics usually /if not rarely, match video, gameplay trailers. It does look good though!

Tbh, it was actually better than a lot of trailers that are releasing now.
It is good to see when a dev puts effort into the trailer really. It usually means the game is going to be good.. Cant wait to see/hear more about this game.

This actually looks hella sick. I never got into the dynasty warriors series much, but this trailer almost makes this game too good to pass up.

Mikey When I see the title ''Explosive'' I was like yea yea ok, but after watching the trailer, I can see the trailer lives up to the title.


Completely agree, I personally thought this was going to be a dead fighters game but it looks freeroam and amazing with its battling. The archery and the head on fighting is amazing.

I've posted this video on the videos tab, just waiting for it to get approved by staff. Yeah the trailer is something else but unfortunately not my sort of game to play.
