PlayStation's Top Downloads for January Revealed

January was a big month for PlayStation players, and the first chance to ring in the new year with some epic game-age. Sony has just revealed their top downloads for the previous month, and it should be of no surprise that Monster Hunter: World completely dominated the charts - especially when looking at the amazing reviews the title has received since launch.

Just like previous months, Sony broke it down by PlayStation 4 games, Free-to-Play, PS VR, PS Vita, PS4 Themes, and PS classics. Here's where your favourites ranked:

Craig How the hell is GTA V still up in the top 5, it's insane. The amount is success that game has had in mind bending.


They only just shipped out a shit tonne recently, but advanced it's widely available it will always be at the top. Go to any store that sells ganes ans I gaurentee it'll be available.

This is why PlayStation is so much better than Xbox. Always allowing users to switch it up, feel what it's like before buying it etc.

They are amazing games, but we're only at the start of the year. we have a load of games releasing this year and the Top Downloads chart is going to be changing all over. Cant wait to see whats to come this year.

It was and it still is. Many popular streamers / youtubers still play this game and hopefully still do. Nice to see this game #1 but idk how long it'll stay up there.

Not a surprise with Monster Hunter World and Fortnite. Very popular games here, and with good reason. The games are phenomenal.
