Destiny 2’s Next DLC Coming in May With Season 3

4.2
Bungie offered a recent roadmap for features coming to Destiny 2 in the coming months. In between expected dates for the Eater of Worlds Prestige raid lair, ranked Crucible and PC text chat, players were curious about the date for the second paid DLC. On Twitter, game director Christopher Barrett stated that the second DLC would launch alongside Season 3 of the game’s content.

Rumours are still rife over whether the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store listing’s for the next DLC, which is being called “Gods of Mars”, are real. Does Rasputin really want to blow up the Traveler? Is Ana Bray really making a return? Will there really be two new Factions? Your guess is as good as ours though we’d take those details with a grain of salt.

In the meantime, players can also expect changes to the sandbox in the coming months especially when it comes to movement speed, Power Ammo in Crucible and ability recharge rate.

MKC It needs it the game is pretty much dead now.

I wouldn't say dead, but dying instead. They constantly offer free weekends, but it's just not enough.

When free weekends happen, it's because the dev has either run out of money and need to boost sales, or because the game is dying. Could be both with D2 lol.

I actually agree, I'd be to embarrassed to even shove a game out for a free weekend for being broke & relying on a dead game for income.

I agree. I see people trying to play this on my friends list but they are only on there for about 15-20 minutes and it looks like they get bored and they get on a different game.

Travis Why so far out though? @Tom well this series was going to die because of CoD

Not quite sure why you @ed me here. but probably a huge portion of the drop of traffic in the game did go towards Call of Duty. Also probably because of fortnite now too.

Well lets just hope its alot better than the first DLC lol, haven't been playing Destiny 2 that much as i got bored too quick, and i was hoping the DLC would make it more interesting but i did think it was very good. So ill just have to wait till May :(

Still a great game though.

I really thought this game was going to skyrocket after the first DLC but it seems like it stayed dead. This DLC will probably bring back a portion of the community but after completing it and getting the loot necessary. It'll just die again.
