PUBG Xbox One Update Adds New Controller Option and More

4.4
In a posting to the official PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds forum, players can get an early look at some patch notes for an upcoming update to the Xbox One version of the game.

The most notable change coming in the next update is a new controller preset in the options menu. With this new preset you’ll be able to use left trigger (LT) to aim down the sight of your weapon and left bumper (LB) to aim down the sight from a third-person perspective. Other changes are coming to gameplay as well as bug fixes and further optimization.

First, pistols have now been removed from the Y button’s weapon rotation and are now grouped together with melee weapons. Players will now be able to quickly equip pistols by hitting up on the D-pad. Also, there will be continued improvements to player rubber banding as well as enhanced server performance when parachuting. Last but not least, there will be some minor bug fixes.

The pistole thing was annoying. I used to drop when I get a new gun. Nice addition thanks Pubg.

Glad for the pistol change, soon as I got 2 primary weapons I would drop the pistol since it would mess me up more than help me. Hopefully the rubber banding will be a significant improvement when first landing from a parachute.
