The latest system software update for the Playstation 3 is aimed at improving the entertainment devices security by adding a minor security patch. Sony, having recently been criticised for allowing cheaters onto their online network appears to be taking action to ensure the well being of their product.

In other news: Homebrew developers appear to be gearing up to defeat new security measures implemented. Developers have reportedly posted newly keys and have begun detailing some of the changes found in the update as they go.
