Sledgehammer Games Comments On Call of Duty WWII Server Issues

4
Sledgehammer Games are the developer of Call of Duty WWII, which is the latest Call of Duty game. This time the series has been taken back to its world war roots with a focus on the classic run and gun gameplay without any science fiction or exoskeltons thrown in the mix. It results in a single player story campaign that attempts to tackle some of the popular battles in World War 2 and multiple that is more grounded in reality.

Call of Duty WWII unfortunately didn’t fare well with the multiplayer and just as the game launched, the server started to undergo major issues cutting out majority of the players. Most of the people who had bought the game on launch weren’t able to connect to the servers or join and play any multiplayer match which resulted in an outrage among the fans.

StarJay I'm honestly glad I waited to get this game, the hype was too much and I haven't even bought the game yet !

The hype is always bad for CoD. Way too high for little give. However, I am enjoying the game. Very different feel. Glad I bought it :)

I got the game at midnight and I couldn't play until morning and I worked so I wasn't able to play for like 2 days. I finally had some off time and went to play and the servers were down, again...
