New Call of Duty: WWII PC Details Announced; Pre-Load Date Revealed

3.5
As Call of Duty: WWII quickly approaches its release date, many are still left clamoring for more details about the PC version of the game. For instance, when we will be able to download the game, and what changes will be made from the beta to the full release, and thanks to a new blog post from developer Sledgehammer Games, we now have that information.

In what would be considered the most important news, players will be able to begin pre-downloading the game tomorrow on Steam, although it’s unknown as to what time you’ll be able to start. This comes on the same day that PS4 players are expected to be able to start their downloads, and more than a week after Xbox One players have begun downloaded theirs.

In addition to that, thanks to some feedback from the community, Sledgehammer Games is attempting to make the day 1 experience for PC much more enjoyable than it was during the beta. This means that the anti-cheating measures will be fully implemented, the game’s performance will be upgraded, the field of view slider will be expanded, and HDR will be fully supported.

While not a huge or important feature, the PC version is set to support Steam Cards.

Call of Duty: WWII is set to be officially released on November 3, 2017, and will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
