Electronic Arts’ Battlefield 3 is far from a secret, but next month the lid on the title is going to be obliterated off.

EA has sent word to media that it will unveil the shooter–courtesy of developer DICE, of course–at this year’s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco which runs from February 28 through March 4.

Battlefield 3 is expected to ship in 2011. As you’ll remember, the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor included beta access to the title.

Who’s excited for even more Battlefield action?
