There’s a new way to join Call of Duty: WWII’s beta without a pre-order

4.5
For PlayStation 4 owners, the Call of Duty: WWII private beta is almost here, and now it’s available to preload.

If you placed your pre-order digitally through the PlayStation Store, you should be able to download the full beta. If you pre-ordered at a different retailer, you’ll need to activate your token from that retailer first (if you don’t have a token yet, check your messages and email—Activision is currently in the process of sending them out).

For those looking to play the beta on Xbox One, there’s no word yet on when you’ll be able to preload. Given that the Xbox One beta doesn’t start until a week after the PS4 version, though, it may be a bit of a wait.

If you don’t want to pre-order the game to join the beta, a second way to join has just opened up. Those who subscribe to Comcast’s Xfinity Internet service can request a code through the Xfinity site. As long as the request is made before August 31st, you should be able to jump in to the beta.

The beta will have three maps, three modes, and a preview of the new War gameplay mode on display. The beta opens first for PlayStation 4 players on August 25th at 10 a.m PT, and runs until August 28th. It opens again at 10 a.m. PT on September 1st for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, and runs until September 4th.

The full game launches on November 3rd for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Echo Great thing for player's with this internet host, sadly it's not me though, going to wait for the full game to drop before I play, very excited

Not really a great thing considering its only a select few that would even take up this offer in the first place.

Just a heads up for people who don't want to preorder and cancel just for the beta, you can just make a fake psn account that's located in hong kong and just go to the ps store to download it. it will say the beta is a demo version in english, just download that and you're good to go.

raefon Too bad Activision are so dumb ass they cant organise emails early so you can actually pre-load the game. Sure to be a cluster **** beta and launch by the way things are panning out already.

Knew their would be some children like you complaining, somehow everyone else can find out this information but you're too lazy to look so you have to cry about it on a forum lol

Child please, its not a matter of finding out information its a matter that they are so useless they couldn't organise a root in a brothel.
Very very silly little boy, if you used that thing inside your head called a brain you could've easily found out the information you are seeking rather than relying on someone else, these people aren't your parents bud one day you'll mature and learn that you have to be independent and stop relying on others. One last thing, they've organised everything exceptionally well actually, a lot better than pretty much every game released this year and coming this year and their game isn't even out yet lol

Yup because you can just pay to pre order the game for £50 and if you want this offer and aren't with these guys you have to pay the rest of your bill off to cancel your contract.... good one lmao

CODS focusing on PlayStation missed when Microsoft got all the early deals. :(

The second method is a bit round about tbh. I think that i'll be waiting for the full game to come out nonetheless. I'm not particularly hyped for it.

Hopefully i'll recieve mine within the week for Xbox.

They should promote more similar offers as pre-ordering shouldn't be the only way to gain access.
