Destiny 2 Gets New Trailer Showing PC Beta Running in 4K, 60 FPS

Today Activision and Nvidia presented a new trailer of Bungie’s upcoming first person shooter Destiny 2.

The trailer showcases the open beta on PC, which will run between August 29th and August 31st (it will actually open on August 28th for those who pre-ordered). To be more specific, we get to see the game running in 4K resolution, 60 FPS, even if it will actually run with uncapped frame rates on our gaming rigs.

The beta on PC will, in fact, support 4K, uncapped frame rates, a fully adjustable graphics settings, keyboard and mouse support, and 21:9 monitor support.

You can check out the trailer below.

Activision recently expressed its “tremendous confidence” in the upcoming game and announced that the console beta and pre-orders surpassed those of the original Destiny in the same period.

Destiny 2 will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, while PC players will have to wait until October 24th.

MuahaMods For all the people who say 30fps is fine.. it really isnt. This is gonna play 50x better on pc and be a better game altogether than consoles. Just hope my PC can run it perfectly.

30fps has been the standard of console gaming since the nineties and people still game on these consoles with the frames cap, let them play where they feel comfortable, instead of bashing them for saying that they feel fine with the game's performance on consoles.
