Been considering grabbing yourself an Xbox One S bundle? Well, Microsoft has just sweetened the pot – as of now, if you buy any 1TB Xbox One S bundle, you’ll get a bonus game of your choice for free!

Now, here’s where things get a little tricky – this promotion is being offered through the Xbox store, Amazon, and various brick-and-mortar locations like Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and Walmart, and seemingly every retailer is offering a slightly different version of the deal.

For instance, Target will just give you a second copy of whatever game came with your bundle – so if you get the Battlefield 1 bundle, you get a second copy of Battlefield 1, which rather pointless and a bit lame. Meanwhile, Microsoft itself gives you a selection of around eight different free games you can choose from, which is better, but still isn’t the best deal out there.

If you really want to take advantage of this promotion, it seems you best choice is Best Buy. Not only will they let you grab any Xbox One game as your bonus, you can even choose from unreleased titles. Want to get a free copy of Red Dead Redemption 2? Or perhaps Call of Duty: WWII? Or Forza Motorsport 7? You’re free to do that, so long as the game is priced $60 or less (no nabbing special editions).
