Players will get plenty of warning before games leave Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft has promised to give Xbox One owners plenty of notice before a game is removed from its Netflix-style Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

“When a game rotates out of Xbox Game Pass, fans will be notified a few weeks in advance before it is removed from the catalog,” a representative informed Destructoid.

The representative also revealed that the first games will not be removed from the service until November, giving Xbox owners plenty of time to play.

Earlier this week, Microsoft added seven new games to the pass: Dead Island Definitive Edition, Resident Evil 6, F1 2015, The Flame in the Flood, Bard’s Gold, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, and Monaco: What’s Mine is Yours. The current plan is to add new games to the service on the 1st of each month.

The Xbox Game Pass launched last month on Xbox One and offers subscribers unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 backward compatible games, as well as discounts on all Xbox One games available via the pass.

A subscription to Xbox Game Pass is priced at $9.99 a month, but Xbox Live Gold members can try the service free for 14 days.

Mei the thing about game pass, i still have a couple of games from it, i still haven't lost them, so id probably say get the games that you want before the pass runs out.

Echo Goo to hear you'll get a few week's notice, Nothing's worse than going to get a game and it being gone.

That's what i was thinking, read a few weeks back that games will also leave the service and i was worried that it happened this time and worried it was the games i played.
