Today at Electronic Art’s EA Play event in California, developer EA Tiburon revealed some brand new details from its upcoming basketball game NBA Live 18.

First off, the title will introduce a brand new way to play the title. This new feature is called The One, and it will allow players to earn respect and other items in not just League play, but also Street play. The choices you make in the Street play will directly affect you in League play. More details on this new feature will arrive in the future according to EA.

Secondly, the developer confirmed that a demo for the title will be coming in August. And best of all, your progress will carry over into the full game.

NBA Live is the rival to 2K’s NBA 2K18 in the basketball simulation space, though EA in recent years has largely trailed behind 2K, as the last few installments have been fumbled, and been not preferred to the NBA 2K series.

NBA Live 18 will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox, Android, and iOS devices this fall. Below, you can check out the newly released gameplay trailer:
