FIFA 18 Marketing Deal With Sony Instead Of Microsoft- Rumor

For the last few years, Microsoft has had the exclusive marketing and bundling rights for EA Sports’ FIFA series, which remains one of the biggest selling franchises in the world, and really, the only reason that Xbox has retained any relevance in Europe at all at this point. However, Sony may have dealt Microsoft a fatal blow, here- apparently, according to a picture posted by Polish YouTuber Oskar “Junajted” Siwiec, it seems as though Sony may have won the branding and marketing rights for the game this year.
You can check out the picture below- it very clearly shows PlayStation branding next to the FIFA logo. Now, this is not confirmation of anything, but it is rather conspicuous- and who knows, it may be indicative of an incoming announcement at E3 in a couple of weeks.
If this is true, then Microsoft has definitely been dealt a serious blow by Sony. We’ll know more soon, hopefully.
Its a shame that they do this kind of thing rather than allowing every person that pays the same price to have access to the full content they create, last few fifa games have been some of the worst imo, they also ruined penalties this year and just make the AI stupid.

Sony spending all this money on getting access to games on Playstation a couple weeks/month before Xbox when they could actually be improving their online services and hardware...smh
Think before you comment because that statement is 100% true. FIFA is the top game in europe and FIFA has legends exclusively on Xbox which draws a vasty majority of EU players to Xbox. Now they will all go to PS

I'd love for there to be no marketing deals or anything about this topic. We all play the same game's and enjoy them why can we just get everything at the same time no matter what console, sadly it wont happen. I'm sure this rumor will be busted at E3?
Really hope this isn't true. I don't hate PlayStation or Sony, but I've always been an Xbox person and it was disappointing to see COD move to PlayStation (even though the game is crap at the moment compared to what it was). Hope Microsoft fight for this, as FIFA is much more worthwhile keeping than COD was (at the time anyway).
