Far Cry 5 is fully playable in co-op, preload already available

Far Cry 5 players will be able to enjoy the game’s entire single-player campaign cooperatively with friends through online play.

Far Cry 5 will let players edit their character to some degree, through features like gender and skin tone, and players can take these characters into friends’ games to tackle the full story campaign. The full functionality of Far Cry 5‘s cooperative play is still unclear, but Ubisoft has confirmed the co-op will be exclusively online.

Players can team up with a friend in their fight against Eden’s Gate and the cult’s leader Joseph Seed, but several other NPCs will also stand at the player’s side. This includes Mary May, a tough-skinned country girl, Jerome Jeffries, a pastor trying to save his community, and Nick Rye, a crop-duster pilot out for vengeance. The more chaos players cause, the more they will fill the game’s Resistance Meter which can eventually lead to showdowns with Seed’s inner circle.

Co-op is good fun in games like this I think this is going to be my first FarCry and i'm excited to play it. Also the NPC's on your side seem interesting

99% sure it's a typo. Preload is definitely not available. Pre-orders are open though. The website TTG is getting its articles from is garbage. Multiple typos, false information, etc.


Lmao yea I've seen some really bad typos / information on some of these articles.
