Is Overwatch getting a Game of the Year Edition?

Website True Achievements has discovered a new entry for a Game of the Year Edition of Overwatch during its most recent scan of the Xbox Store.

According to the entry, Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition launches May 23rd and includes the five Origin skins found in the Origins Edition, 10 free Loot Boxes, a Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft, the Tracer hero in Heroes of the Storm, and more.

As well as the Game of the Year Edition, the site also discovered new Anniversary Loot Boxes that contain over 100 new items. The boxes will be available to purchase until June 5th and are attached to the Overwatch Anniversary event, which has been mentioned in several rumors.

Earlier this week, game director Jeff Kaplan revealed that Symmetra will be getting a new legendary skin soon.

Overwatch is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

So they're repacking the Origin edition, and calling it the GOTY edition by adding 10 loot boxes. Hopefully the price is cheaper than $60 this time around.

usually just a overall better edition in graphics, and a few other options anniversary packs ETC

God dammit. I just spent 50 dollars on loot boxes. I would have waited a bit longer to get the anniversary boxes. I can almost hear my wallet crying in the corner because another 50 is going to Blizz in a few more weeks.
