Two new PS2-on-PS4 games revealed

4.4
Sony revealed in its latest “The Drop” blog post that PlayStation 2 classics Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland will be coming to PlayStation 4 this week.

Both games will be available on the PlayStation Store from May 9th in North America and May 10th in Europe.

As with previous PS2-on-PS4 games, both Resident Evil Code: Veronica X and Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland feature upscaled 1080p graphics, as well as support for trophies and Remote Play.

Code Veronica X originally launched for PlayStation 2 in 2001 and is an improved version of the Dreamcast release with new cutscenes and improved graphics.

Back in March, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time was released on PlayStation 4 in Japan as a PS2-on-PS4 game with improved graphics, faster load times, trophy support, share features, and support for Remote Play. A western release date for the game has not been announced.

Veronica X was one of the more off games that ever was made IMO. But RE was always fun.
