The 1TB PS4 Slim model will made available in the US later this month

Sony will release the 1TB PlayStation 4 Slim model in North America later this month.

The news was tweeted earlier by the official PlayStation account.

Those in the UK have been able to purchase the 1TB PS4 Slim since September of last year. Previously, only the 500GB model has been available in the US.

The console will run you $300, but if you want to splurge for the higher-end PS4, you can always pick up the PS4 Pro instead for $399. At least you’ll be ready when you finally decide to grab one of those lovely 4K sets, if you don’t have one already.

Luckily, if you aren’t ready to pay the extra $100 for the Pro, thanks to a firmware update, the original and Slim PS4 models now support HDR. It’s just a matter of choice, obviously.

As of press time, Sony hasn’t provided a shelf date for the 1TB PS4 Slim; however, GameStop has it listed for release on April 20.

Sonys gotta stop milking the Ps4, people could just buy an external hard drive.

Activez- Sounds sweet. Might snag one up. Does anyone know what the average size is per game?

Like about 75GB, give or take some

For the games i play i usually use about 40-60gb per game really depends on the type of game.
