Xbox One backward compatibility adds new games, including a classic

4.4
Three new titles have just joined the ever-growing catalogue of backward compatible games playable on the Xbox One.

First up is Daytona USA, the classic racing game released by Sega all the way back in 1993. The arcade game’s gone through many updates and iterations over the years, and it’s one of these updated versions that appeared on Xbox Live in 2011—and now, by extension, on the Xbox One.

Next up is Stacking, a puzzle/adventure based on Russian stacking matryoshka dolls developed by Double Fine Productions. Taking control of the smallest doll, the player must stack and unstack into different sizes of dolls in order to use their unique abilities.

Finally, there’s Tower Bloxx Deluxe, a strategy/puzzle game that asks players to build cities out of multicolored buildings, each with its own separate building rules.

All three games should be available now as part of the program, and, as always, should be playable right away if you already owned the Xbox 360 versions. Don’t forget to check out the full list of backward compatible games over at Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s site.
