Modern Warfare Remastered Paid Map Pack Causes Major Fan Backlash

Is it 2016 all over again? Call Of Duty/Activision is once again under fire but this time it’s about the upcoming Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered DLC map pack. The map pack which is called “Variety Map Pack” and was also a DLC for the original game is going to be a paid DLC once again. Many are furious that Activision chose to make it a paid DLC again rather than a free DLC like many other developers do for remastered titles.

The complaints didn’t stop there as the DLC will actually cost more than it did when it released 9 years ago. The price for the map pack back in 2008 was $10 but it will now $14.99. It’s an extremely questionable decision by Activision, and one that has caused a lot of anger from the Call Of Duty fans with many disliking the trailer for the map pack which you can see below.

I'm so freaking glad I never bought infinite warefare to get this. MW is past its prime. Plain and simple. The game was fun 10 years ago and I played the crap out of it but I'm not interested in trying to re-live the past. I'm onto bigger and better things. Crazy to think that it's been 10 years and there has been a cod every year since. Halo can last 4 years, destiny 3, gta 5 easy. It just shows you how bad a game actually is, they shove a new one down your neck every year. It's like getting a new IPhone every year when your old one works fine. It's so edgy, I'm not fooled by the hype.

So you switches to Battlefield because you think EA aren't a money grabbing company too? Because they don't have supply drops you can pay for? Because they dont have premium access to map packs which you can pay extra for?....

Haven't bought a Call of Duty since MW3, and will never buy one again.
