Don’t listen to the latest Xbox One backward compatibility rumors

Xbox chief Phil Spencer has once again shot down a Call of Duty: Black Ops II rumor.

A recent rumor had been circling the internet that led the optimistic Call of Duty fans to believe that Black Ops II may be coming to the Xbox One’s backward compatibility program next week. However, Phil Spencer felt it was his (call of) duty to make sure hopes were not raised.

As I’m sure your delusional Call of Duty friend may have pointed out to you by now, this could mean that the much-requested Call of Duty: Black Ops II may arrive this week. We wouldn’t put our money on it, though.

Hopefully, the game will arrive soon, though, so we can put all this behind us.

Daniel I'm actually glad about this, I absolutely hate Bo2 many people will disagree with me but that's just my opinion, I'd like to see mw3 or mw2 on bc or remastered.(probably won't happen)


You're glad they're limiting your options? If BO2 WAS backwards compatible, that doesn't mean you have to play it.

All games should be backwards compatible anyway. This is one of the reasons I don't even buy consoles anymore, I can't go back and play older games I like unless I dig out the old console.

I think that BO2 was a fun game and I enjoyed it way more than Infinite Warfare, but I think they should make MW2 backwards compatible first before any other cod.


nah they need to make that the next remastered game.
