Xbox Project Scorpio Referenced in AMD’s Ryzen and Vega Booth at CES

An image has this week surfaced that teases an association between AMD’s new CPU and GPU architecture and the upcoming Xbox Scorpio console.

AMD is amongst the exhibitors at the CES 2017 technology expo, which closes out tomorrow after a week full of press conferences, product reveals and more from Las Vegas, Nevada.

In an intriguing development, Japanese website 4Gamer managed to take a photo (which it has since deleted) of AMD’s Ryzen and Vega booth, in which the Xbox Scorpio was mentioned on a monitor; prompting speculation that the upgraded system – which Microsoft is touting as “the most powerful console ever” – may be set to make use of the manufacturer’s latest hardware.
