Top-Grossing Steam Games Of 2016 Announced

2016 has come to an end, and after revealing the winners of the Steam Awards 2016, Valve has now revealed the top-grossing Steam games of 2016.

Valve has announced the top-grossing games for the calendar year, however, they did not reveal any figures. They categorized the games into four groups; Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. This list includes a popular free-to-play MOBA known as DotA 2, to name a few.

The top 5 Platinum games consist of Civilization IV, DotA 2, Total War: Warhammer, The Division and Rocket League.

You can also check out the best-selling Steam games of 2016 on their website. The best-selling games feature games like DotA 2, GTA V, The Witcher: Wild Hunt, and more.

Valve also announced the winners of the Steam Awards 2016 recently. This is the first time Valve held these awards, and the users voted for games which fit the category. The awards featured categories like ‘Villain Most In Need Of A Hug’ or ‘Best Use Of A Farm Animal’, so these were not like all the other awards.

Madeline Honestly, I knew RL would be at the top. The player base has grown exponentially in the last few months. I love the game with all my heart and I will play it until the last server gets cut off.

I played it like once and it's hard to play it on Laptop as you could imagine.
When I get this on PC 1v1 match, you down? I'm a beginner - allow me to score once.
On the real note, yeah this game is good but I need to play it more for sure.

I still play them both to this day. Took a break from division earlier last year (2016), but picked it up again around November. Don't even play BF1 that much now, maybe once a week now. Strictly RL and division.
