Xbox Live won’t let you down, new xbox ad claims

A few months ago, an independent study proclaimed Xbox Live to be the most reliable console online gaming network– and now, Microsoft are taking that and running with it in an all new ad, which claims that Xbox Live is a network that ‘won’t let you down.’

To be fair, Xbox Live is in general a better offering than the competition- basic features like changing your username are allowed, the monthly offering of games to subscribers is better, and online play is far more stable, with less downtime- so the claim isn’t necessarily without merit. Sony, for a while beginning to close the gap that separated theirs and Microsoft’s online offerings, are now decidedly lagging behind again.

Then again, I’m not sure if, to the average customer, the difference is that noticeable, at any rate. You can check out the ad for yourself below, and let us know whether or not you agree with Microsoft’s claim in the comments section below.

Xbox live is better than PSN there again they've had paid subscriptions for much many years longer than playstation.

I love my xbox, the gameplay is amazing, the security is great and how smooth it runs amazes me. Almost any server can be taken down by a hacker because there is no such thing as total security. So for those of you saying you don't like that, well get over it. Every online server/website is vulnerable to a certain degree.

See I haven't had any issues with the servers for about a year now everything has been good so far for me apart from things on my end with lag and little things like that due to my horrible Internet

Have to admit, i own both an xbox and ps4 and when the servers are taken offline via a hacker, the xbox servers are back online quicker than the ps4 servers.

In some instances ps4 has been down for 12 hours + with little to no communication from sony, microsoft on the other hand were doing frequent Twitter updates on the matter and again was online well before sony.

I love both consoles but i have to agree that XBL is a far better online service than PSN.

Never had any problems with Xbox and the online experience apart from lag issues but that could've been my internet especially back on the 360 but Xbox One is fine apart from the bugs at the start but that was expected

On a serious note, I got both consoles and Xbox servers rarely go down....if ever. Maybe 1-2 times a year because of updates or that rare hack. Sony stays going down like a monthly bases
