The Death Star expansion pack for Star Wars Battlefront is bringing in a new game mode. This new expansion pack is bringing us to space with the new game mode called Battle Station. The game mode contains three phases, each with a different objective.

In Phase 1 you will be flying X-wings and A-wings against TIE fighters and TIE interceptors in space. The objective is for Rebels to destroy enough TIE fighters until their Y-wing support can come in to bring down the Star Destroyer’s defenses. Once then, starfighters can attack the weak spots in an effort to bring the Star Destroyer down.

In Phase 2 players will fight inside this iconic space station among areas inspired by the classic trilogy. Rebel infantry will be tasked with extracting a priority droid from within the Death Star. You will be given the chance to join either Bossk or Chewbacca in this Phase.

The final Phase will have Rebels trying to blow up the Death Star. Players can become Luke Skywalker in his Red-5 X-wing as they attempt to destroy the Death Star. Darth Vader has been dispatched, so be on the look out for him.

The Death Star expansion pack will be available in September.
