Developer 343 Industires has been very selective in what community Forge maps it introduces to the standard multiplayer playlists for Halo 5: Guardians. In a recent post on Halo Waypoint they mentioned a new map that is set to release in the Slayer playlist for the August 2016 Season.

Orion-II (from creator Black Picture), an updated version of Orion, was ready to be released but pulled back this week. The original version was removed in November of last year due to exploits and general discontent from fans. Orion-II nearly became public but new spawn traps were found that must be fixed before it can be introduced.

Instead, another forge map named White Cell (from creator Chronmeister) will be introduced. 343 Industries assures players that it meets, “a certain quality bar and excellence that we’re quite fond of.”
