Microsoft adds two more games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

4.5
Microsoft today added two more titles to the list of Xbox 360 games that are backward compatible with the Xbox One.

Last week, the company added a total of 11 games to the list. A week ago, three games were added, but later in the week, the firm announced another eight. Because of this, it wouldn't be entirely surprising if Microsoft added more later on this week.

Here's what's new to the Backward Compatibility list today:

Boom Boom Rocket ($9.99)
Set off an amazing display of fireworks with Boom Boom Rocket. As rockets fly against a spectacular cityscape, time their detonation to the beat of the music to unleash some awesome pyrotechnics. Featuring four game modes including two multiplayer modes, and a great soundtrack, Boom Boom Rocket is the explosive must-have game for Xbox Live Arcade.

Syberia ($9.99)
The critically acclaimed adventure jewel from Benoit Sokal arrives on Xbox Live Arcade. Embark on an unforgettable journey into Syberia's enigmatical universe and explore a bewitching world full of larger than life automatons! Incarnate Kate Walker, in her quest to unveil the mystery around the disappearance of the Voralberg factory’s heir, a formerly glorious company, and experience situations that will put Kate's lifestyle under question!

In case you missed it, the company also announced the August Games with Gold today. If you're not familiar with the program, it allows Xbox Live Gold members to get four free games every month.

Of course, another great way to get great games for low prices is to browse through the Backward Compatibility list, which continues to expand at a rapid pace. If you're holding out for your favorite game to appear on the list, be patient, as it will likely appear eventually.

Rx-ChAoZz People who are saying Microsoft needs to add better games, well they probably would if they had the permission to do so from the publishers. I understand that there are games that they have published and haven't yet become backwards compatible but they also need to bug fix the games to make sure that it will run on the emulated system.

The emulator, emulates the actions of the original console.... If it works normally, it will work through emulation.

jay Ayyyyylmao. More crap to waste on your hard drive. Seriously they need there heads banging together. What are these games!

Tight Half of the games added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility I've never heard of which is quite a shame. I'm hoping Microsoft will release more popular titles to Xbox One Backward Compatibility in the future.

Supervisor I wish they'd bring known games to be backwards compatible

Christ people, it's not up to Microsoft, it's the developers that allow it

if its not a AAA game they or they haven't heard of it, it means its bad. Could be the best game every but they don't care unless its AAA.

All kids care about now is just the triple a games and if it's not those on this list then the games are bad. Clear to see most people got into gaming late 360 so they don't understand how good some of these old games are and they only care about CoD/Fifa/Battlefield.
