Current specs
i7 7700K 4 core 8 threads
Asus Prime Z270-P Motherboard
Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix
Seasonic 620W 80+ Bronze PSU
Computer case NZXT H510i Elite

The graphics card is already bought as I got a good deal on a 3060ti
Will be going from the i7 7700K 4 core to the i7 10700K 8 core

My questions are
Should I worry about changing my motherboard if so what one do you recommend?

Should I upgrade my PSU?

All comments, suggestions & opinions are welcome

Z270 motherboards are not compatible with Intel 10th gen, so yes you would need to upgrade motherboard if switching from a 7700k to a 10700k.

Wattage of your PSU would be adequate, unless you intend on very heavy overclocking. If the PSU is not several years old, then you don't need to replace it. If it's more than a couple years old and you have some money anyway, then no harm in replacing it.

I'm curious as to why you would be upgrading to CPU that is 4 generations old? Especially if you're going to need to buy a new motherboard anyway. Just buy an R5 3600 or R5 5600 and a decent B450/B550 motherboard, job done. Will almost definitely be cheaper than any Intel alternative as well.
