| I have basically retired from gaming and I haven't been in the scene for awhile. I have a 6 year old I wanna buy a console for but idk what kind to buy him I want one of the newer ones but don't wanna spend a lot like he's 6. |

| Series S, Its one of the cheaper consoles. Not to mention you can just stick the game pass on it and have hundreds of games instead of buying them individually (but to be fair most games are freemium nowadays unlike when we were kids) |

| Depends. I dont think there's too much difference between the 2 of them other than abit more speed and nicer graphics. If you're interested in the graphics and speed, the x is nice. But if you're not I'd say series s. |

I'd personally say series s.
Most kids that age are starting Fortnite, it's definitely smooth gaming. Digital games are a lot cheaper than they used to be either. Series X if you're feeling a lil extra generous. Honestly, if I got my 6 year old a series s & he got upset it wasn't the X I'd send it back to the shop and replace it with an IOU haha Edit: I don't have a child btw, I was being hypothetical lol |
