The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo

So, this is a new point and click indie game that was released last week. It was created by a Spanish developer and only takes around an hour to complete. That doesn't sound great for a game costing $12, but in this case it seems that one is buying an interactive piece of art rather than a video game. I've uploaded the original trailer in place of the release trailer as I think it provides a better idea of the game's concept. The player simply clicks around the screen to interact with the environment and help Mr Coo move through this surrealistic universe. The intent of the game seems not to focus on plot, but to transport the player into a world of surreal situations and artwork. I believe it's very unique, especially in today's gaming landscape, and worth an the few bucks and an hour of your time.

"[The Many Pieces of Mr Coo] has the feeling of a half-forgotten cartoon you watched on holiday when you were a kid, and its constant artistic flourishes are absolutely the main event here". A game where the player is "pulling at a lever to make an old Punch and Judy show kick into life, you often feel as if your role is simply to interact with things in order to motor along more gorgeous, dreamlike visuals".
