As someone who has watched a ton of different genres of not just anime, but TV and movies too, I have quite a bit of thoughts thus far. First off, I just want to let you guys know that I will not be going into TOO SPECIFIC of detail, that way if I convince anyone to watch I want ruin any of the good stuff.
WATER 7 ARC - EPISODES 207-325... Before I go on a nerd rant, lets talk about the arc. So far, obviously, best arc by far. I really enjoyed the fighting. Not only were there tons of one-on-ones, but there were several times were there were pairs fighting. There was some internal fighting. Fighting against old enemies, a ton of new ones. Even some, fighting that wasn't so much a physical challenge. Watch the arc to see what I mean of course. I enjoy how the show can go from, one mood to another mood in a mater of seconds. And its not just like the typical kind of mood switches that animes often use. I thought it was really interesting at the end of the arc what happened with the ship. That was, really unexpected, and an awesome twist. I think that, because of what happened, with the crew at the end, I am really really excited to see how the shipmates interact with one another. The last few episodes almost literally had me wanting to bite my nails! Like the way the communication goes in this show is really intenest sometimes and it makes me super happy. I think that, after this arc, there will be some really big character development and growth starting to happen. You can tell that the characters are all growing by this point, in their own different ways. I really think one of the biggest reasons this show has been so succesful for so long, is that there are so many unique and individual personalities not just on the crew, but in the day to day lives that the crew lives through. THOUGHTS: Every arc, gets better and better. You start to, in a weird way, start to expect the unexpected, right? Well, let me say. Half the time, you will probably be able to figure out what's going on, BUT with a twist. And, the other half? Well, that's part of the fun! It just doesn't turn out the way the viewer might expect. That's really awesome. It always keeps you guessing. t makes you want to watch the next episode, even if you know you need to get to bed or back to whatever you were doing. Seriously, I can't believe this show. I have stopped at the beginnings of SO MANY animes and just simply given up. Sometimes, I wonder what could have happened. But most of the time, I think I have a pretty good idea if I will enjoy the series or not. But we all do right? This was the same thing. I could not, for the life of me, get into it! Greatest of all time? Yeah right! People went berserk over this show? For WHHHATTT? WELL I CHANGE MY FREAKIN' MIND! I did a long time ago. But the more I watch, the more I really wish I would have just stuck with it. Like I said in another form, a lot of the time animes are only one season - and the entire season is between 11-13 episodes. So, besides the storyline, there's really not even enough time to get hooked into the show. Especially if you are like me, and can finish a 12-episode series show in a day or weekend. Especially when the episodes are only 20 minutes long. i love this shit, character development, fighting is nonstop, fights arent like basic AI type of stuff, its not even close to other style animes and there are just so many episodes that you wont HAVE to look for another show to watch BUT YOU CAN WATCH MORE AT THE SAME TIME IF YOU WANT.. like bro im really telling you i started this show so many times at least 6 times and im telling you im so glad i gave this show a 7th shot cuz FUUUCK this might actually just be my favorite series and im not even kidding its just such a unique piece of anime and honestly history. that might be bold.. but its my honest opinion. and its nuts to think that im not even halfway done ANNNNNNND like the hunter x issues... THERE ARE STILL NEW EPISODES COMING OUT EVERY WEEK!!!!! |
