I am curious on what you guys do for work, or what keeps you from being homeless in a sense.
Do you like your job or are you planning on moving on from it or is it your career your following out.

If you could add some technical info so some of us may be able to understand better of what you actually do considering some of you guys do have some amazing confusing jobs.

I am a Future automotive shop owner as well as a technician and Service Advisor( i do it all essentially). Currently in our business/field, we specialize in rebuilding automotive transmissions for everyday people as well as Performance applications such as drag cars, Diesel trucks, and off road vehicles. At my business we also do more than just transmissions. We also fully repair everyday vehicles and build some beautiful classic cars as well. I love what i do and the knowledge that comes from it. I am constantly learning and expanding my skills and challenging myself to always do better and strive for the next goal. I believe that's what it is about. Striving for your next goal to accomplish.

I am an Operations Manager for a Tire Wholesale Company. Used to do just Logistics but recently hit a promotion.

Also I consider College a job, so I do two different things.

Work 50-60 hours at the job that actually pays me and another 18 hours a week sitting in a classroom.

Just a side note as well, I planning on Graduating in a field I no longer have intentions going into since my current employer treats me so well.

Good job on the promotion! College is most definitely a job especially if it's between jobs too.

Thanks! It was really unexpected! I was content for the time being where I was, since I am in College as well. I never expected to see a promotion until after I finished.

I've sat a job for 7 years, waiges weren't raised (unless they legally had to) without a promotion. I had to quit, almost killed me. So props must be doing something very well! What do you do in college? Can't imagine doing something incredibly stressful whilst also working a hard job.

I just arrived to China to teach literature and linguistics at a university for 6 months. Two weeks ago I was deep cleaning trains. Three months ago I was a bicycle courier. Five months ago I was doing research for a global photojournalism contest. I wonder what I'll get up to next
