A Colleague of mine asked if i'd take a look at her sons PS4 slim as he wasn't able to play games or connect to PSN.
However when I plugged the console in and tried to get on it I was met with a dead power button. So as one does I press the next button I find and I'm met with a triple beep from the eject button. I tried to power the console on with the controller however the light just flashes for a few seconds before turning itself off again. I plugged the controller in with the cable which also resulted with nothing. I then took the console apart and had a look at the hard drive, I cleaned out the entire unit as my colleague's son informed me it had been sat around for a while, re-assembled and same issue persists. My next port of call was to take a look at the power supply however I couldn't guarantee i'd know if there was an issue without it being obvious damage to the chip or solder. If anyone has had this issue with a PS4 slim help would be appreciated. Additional info, Disk tray will not accept disks, No obvious damage to console. |

| This sounds like a gpu issue. You would most likely have to resolder the gpu. |
