Hello, I am back to build another PC, for my daughter. Last one was in 2020, when parts were scarce. So I imagine there are new parts and things out there now. Her previous PC was given away to another family member, so we do not have any of those parts and are starting fresh anew!

What is your budget and currency? $800-$1300. However, I am hoping there are some 4th july sales, and I can always build this over the next month or two if more funds are needed if say there is something you highly suggest!

What will you use the PC for?

- Art, youtube. Edit: She will have a laptop for college that the school lends her, so this is just for art and minor gaming.

She will be mostly be running programs like Clip Studio Paint, SAI. I do not think that is very robust program. She plans to go into art in college, but so far does not use heavy programs like adobe illustrator, but I imagine one day she might (maybe); she's just taking gen ed the next couple years. She does have a HUION tablet that she plugs in to draw on. She also wants to video record her illustrations (they call it speed painting) and thus then edit her videos.

- Live streaming her art (you tube live while drawing)
- Games would be minor like minecraft, Lost Ark, no games where fps is super essential, no overclocking

Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using?
Yes, need a monitor.

Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? No, will be using a plain cheap wired mouse and keyboard.

Do you need an operating system? Yes, most likely win 10.

Anything else we should know?

- I do not want a micro case if possible.
- always seem to be low on USB slots, annoying!
- Would like to future proof some, she has 4 years of college ahead of her would love for it to last that long.

Thank you again!!!

Ah I forgot to mention she will have a loaner laptop from the school for school essentials. I should maybe edit the title, but it was or less for future college art classes where maybe she will need say photoshop, illustrator, and not sure what else etc.

I love to build these PCs with her and also love that I can put more ram in than a macbook, so would rather go that route. But love the idea one of these days maybe getting her a macbook!
