Overclocked my DDR4 Corsair 16GB 3600MHZ ram from 2133mhz to 3600mhz and had to CMOS reset my PC lol.

Anyone able to help guide me to OC my CPU and RAM to hopefully get some better FPS and stability on my games?

Depends on the platform. AMD overclocking is different to Intel.

All we really need is motherboard model and ideally, the RAM model. (Full model)

Enable XMP to use recommended RAM settings.

Under Peripherals > AMD CBS, set Precision Boost Overdrive to Advanced and set Max CPU Boost Clock Override to +200 MHz.

Done. You can go a little further if you do your own research.

For now, I'd say do as r00t said, jump into the BIOS and set your RAM via XMP - Youtube video below

Assuming you're fine with that, CPU overclocking can be done via PBO. There's loads of YouTube videos regarding this so I'd suggest watching some, getting an idea of what's needed first then if you're comfortable, trying it yourself.

Personally, I use CTR but this I wouldn't recommend this, not yet at least. It took me a good while to learn it and to get a stable overclock from it. I had to modify a lot within the BIOS to get it stable and happy.

Yeah the ram overclock seemed to really help. Bumped up my WZ2 FPS from 80-100 to about 80-110 now. Getting around 110-130 FPS in MP.

I've already had to do a CMOS reset once so yeah got a lot of info to learn haha
