I looked at other guides and did everything, installed v1.8 drivers, runtime, sdk and developer's kit but the green light still flashes.
Everything's fine with the power and some apps detect it, but it just wont work.
Any idea what to do? Thanks for answers.

If you have already installed the necessary drivers and software for the Kinect on your PC and it still isn't working, there are a few things you can try:

Check the USB connection: Make sure that the Kinect is properly connected to your PC's USB port. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable to ensure that the connection is secure.

Update your drivers: Even if you have installed the latest drivers, there may be updates available that could resolve any issues. Try checking the manufacturer's website for updates to the drivers and software.

Restart your PC: Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can resolve issues with hardware not working properly.

Check the device manager: Go to the device manager on your PC and see if the Kinect is listed. If it is, try uninstalling the drivers and then reinstalling them again.

Try a different USB port: If you have multiple USB ports on your PC, try connecting the Kinect to a different port to see if that resolves the issue.

Check compatibility: Make sure that your PC meets the system requirements for the Kinect. Also, check that the version of the Kinect SDK you have installed is compatible with the version of the Kinect hardware you are using.

Try a different PC: If none of the above solutions work, try connecting the Kinect to a different PC to see if the issue is with your computer or the Kinect itself.

Hopefully, one of these solutions will help you get your Kinect working properly on your PC.
