Hello! My wife has been with iphone for a bit of time... I have always switched each year from iphone -> android and back. Currently have the s20 ultra and was waiting for today to pre order the s23 ultra.

The wife currently has iphone 12 I think.. maybe the 13. She's talking about switching to Android. I know she will be frustrated with the switch but I also think she will enjoy it.

So between the s23 and iphone 14 I know she will be happy with either one..... I told her might as well stay just because of how used to her iphone she is. But I'd also love her to have an Android.

Personally I like androids more.

What are some things I should tell her about each to maybe help her decide?

I would say the iPhone 14 cause I'm an apple person and don't want to switch to android cause there is nothing good onto it and it would take time to get used to. The only thing about the s23 it had 8k video at 30fps
And the 14 has 4K at 60fps. The camera is alittle better on the S23 than the 14.

My computer monitor can't even handle 8k video D:
I only have a iPhone 8+ LMAO. But i agree. I don't feel like there would be anything to gain from going with the android versus the comfortability and familiarity of staying with the same OS.

I used to sell phones at Best Buy. Most people who swapped whether android to apple or apple to android came back, paid a restocking fee and swapped back to what they had. I would suggest to stick with what she is used to unless she wants to explore the world of customization, setting changes, 3rd party apps, etc.

If she doesn't want to do those things, she likely just needs a normal phone in which I'd suggest staying with apple. Both are great phones but she will like what she knows how to use.
