Hello,

Just thought I'd show you guys a little shop design I've been working on, any adivce or criticism welcome

Note: Not sure why but Imgur has killed the quality

Hey Bru,

    - I would say to center graphic design & make the font size a little smaller under "BRU"
    - The text is not visible in the 3 boxes (Make font color white to stand out)
    - Where your social media platform logos are make sure you include your "@" for each one

Here's my little advice:the design/Layout itself looks fine to me, I'd work on the fonts you use. If you've got an Adobe creative cloud account, download some free fonts (try using serif fonts mainly) as for the visuals, white will match the colours you're using for the layout. White-purple. If you need some more help, give me a shout any time on discord!

Edit: Scicilian got it, the socials at the bottom will unfortunately need @'s as threads don't allow clickable links I don't think.

A few bits of feedback that I thought I would share although most have been covered already.

  • The text on the panels is very hard to read since the colours are almost the same. I recommend using a light colour such as white since its pretty dark.
  • Try to avoid clipping the edges of images that you use since it looks weird and less professional imo.
  • Having the title in the top corner while everything else is center aligned looks weird and I would either align everything to the left or everything to the center.


I have highlighted the parts that I am talking about to make it easier for you to see what I am talking about which can be seen in the spoiler below.

Other than what I have listed above its not too bad. If you are struggling with fonts to use, check DaFont since they usually have some pretty good fonts and Google Fonts if you are looking for something a little more professional.

Thank you so much for the advice, I'll definitely have a look at some serif fonts and more professional fonts.

Thank you for the advice! I'll be updating my fonts and looking for more professional style fonts.

The social media images I used were from a free online icon site, not sure what happened to them or how I clipped them but I should of given the design a good look over before posting so that's a lesson for next time.

Now I've looked at the design I agree that the title being on the left and everything else centred looks weird.

It was my first time trying to do a purple based design, the purple I chose for the text was not dark enough.

I'll be doing another version of this design based off the advice given.

The reason I posted this design is simply to get criticism and advice from those far better than me lol so that I am able to improve
