So this is the problem; I be playin fortnite and after 10 minutes of playing, the screen would freeze, audio would cut out for 5 seconds, then revert back to normal. But when that happens, a delay in my mic when i talk happens. Not just in game, but on discord as well.

The same thing happened when I played Rust, it happens after 10 minutes playing in a game/server. I have a focusrite audio interface with an XLR mic.

Any reason why this would happen?;//

Is your XLR plugged into a USB 3.0 port?

yes it is. it only happens in-game. on other apps like FL Studio, works fine
